First record of Diabrotica virgifera LECONTE, 1868 (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) in the Kozienicka Forest
Abstract
The invasive beetle species Diabrotica virgifera has been found for the first time in the Kozienice Forest. The beetle was observed in the Kozienice Forest District (EC20), on goldenrod flowers in a habitat surrounded by dense woodland. Approximately 1.5 km from the observation site lies the so-called Jedleńska Glade, where maize crops are grown.
