Abstract
The distribution of Hylastes linearis Erichson, 1836 in Czechia is summarized. The species was recorded from 26 faunistic grid squares in our study. Its occurrence is significantly lower in Moravia than in Bohemia. The distribution area decreases towards the east, confirming H. linearis as an Atlantic-Mediterranean species.
