A very seldom collected species living in
central and northern Europe (Caldara & O’Brien 1997). In the
Czech Republic known only from Moravia (Strejček 1993), but during the
last fifty years not collected there. New species for Bohemia and confirmation of occurrence in the Czech Republic after more than fifty years.

Palaearctic species living on Erodium spp. (Smreczynski 1968).
In the Nature Reserve Machnatá collected by sweeping after rain on a meadow, where Erodium was not found. Larval development of the species is here probably fixed to related plant species from Geraniaceae family – Geranium sanguineum L. New species for the Czech Republic.
Sibinia arenariae Stephens, 1831 [Fig. W39_3]

Western Palearctic and Transcaspian species, its
distribution in Europe is confined to Mediterranean and western parts,
developing here on Spergularia spp. and Spergula arvensis
L. (Dieckmann 1988). It could be imported to Bzenec by traffic; its
collecting point is closely situated along the main railway track from
southern to central Europe. New species for central Europe and the
Czech Republic.
