Larvae of buprestid beetles (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) of Central Europe

Abstract

Summarization of the CUITent knowledge on morphology and taxonomy of buprestid larvae of Central Europe and detailed morphological and anatomical characteristics of larvae of the family Buprestidae. A key to all buprestid larvae known now from Central Europe is accompanied by ill ustrations of key characters. Altogether 103 species are treated in the key, 2 1 of which are previously unknown. Larvae of all genera are ill ustrated with morphological and anatomical details. References include all papers deali ng with taxonomy and morphology of buprestid larvae from Central Europe.
