The following changes were made to the Lexicon from 2026-02-01   to 2026-02-28  :

On the homepage, the blocks "Select for you" (update days) and "Just published" (update days) were updated.

• Update days: February 1, 8, 15, and 22, 2026
• A module with an overview of "What do I gain by registering?" has been added to the footer of the "Login/Registration" page, explaining the benefits for registered users.
• A new "sourcelist" plugin has been created, which generates a list of references using defined selection, display, and sorting criteria and works with data from the Lexikon library.
• The list of monitored periodicals in the "Select for you" block has been expanded to include the German magazine "Angewandte Carabidologie", including the addition of history since 2019.

The "About project" pages were updated in the "News from Project", "Sources" and "Statistics".

The "Topics" pages were updated in the "Faunistic Grid" and "Bioindicator Groups".

• Within the "Faunistic grid" menu, a block called "KFME Grid from GPS" has been added with a Calc spreadsheet file, enabling bulk calculations of KFME coordinates from GPS.
• Within the "Faunistic grid" menu, the page "KFME method" has been renamed to "KFME methodology".
• Within the "Faunistic grid" menu, the page "KFME map of squares in the Czech Republic" has been renamed to "KFME Grid (CZ)".
• Within the "Faunistic grid" menu, the page "UTM methodology" has been added (for logged-in users only).
• The page "UTM Grid (CZ)" has been added to the "Faunistic grid" menu (for logged-in users only).
• The "Calculation of data from the map" page has been redesigned in the "Faunistic grid" menu (calculation errors in KFME and UTM have been removed and an error when copying data in some browsers has been removed).
• Within the "Bioindicator groups - group XY" menu, Calc spreadsheet editor blocks with bioindication overviews for each group have been added.

The "Lexikon" pages were updated in the "Checklist", "Taxonomic Atlas", "Alphabetical Atlas" and "Invasive species".

• Blocks with catalogs of individual families in Calc spreadsheet format have been added to the "Checklist - Family XY" menu.
• When viewing the atlas of a specific family, a "Atlas legend" block has been added to the right-hand side of the "Atlas" menu, describing the taxonomic categories and icons used.
• An overview of invasive species in the Czech Republic has been added to the "Invasive Species" menu, including a description of the individual columns in the table.
• A block called "Invasive Species" has been added to the "Invasive Species" menu, which contains a Calc spreadsheet file with an overview of invasive species in the Czech Republic.

The "Determination" pages were updated in the "Morphology" section.

• A block in Calc spreadsheet format with a multilingual morphological dictionary of Coleoptera has been added to the "Morphology" menu.

The "Information Resources" pages have been updated in the "Intelligence" and "Library" sections.
