The Lexicon of Beetles of the Czech Republic

Join us on a journey into the fascinating world of insects. An exhibition of giant tropical beetles, colourful butterflies, masters of camouflage and creatures straight out of science fiction awaits you. We will compare exotic species (such as giant titans and goliaths) with our native fauna – you will encounter the stag beetle and the praying mantis, whose appearance boldly rivals that of their exotic relatives!

An entomologist will guide you through this incredible world, captivatingly explaining to children how amazing adaptations allow insects to survive in different environments. Finally, we will become creators, making moving butterflies that will fly and bring the whole exhibition to life.
