The International Insect Exchange in Frankfurt am Main, with a tradition dating back more than a century, is one of the largest events of its kind in Europe. It takes place every year on the first weekend in November. The exchange is brought to life by around 50 exhibitors with specimens from all over the world. The main focus is on butterflies, live specimens and entomological equipment. In recent years, an increasing number of beetles have also been exhibited.
In addition to the main exhibition, there is an accompanying programme for children and adults.
Foreign visitors are recommended to stay overnight in the hotel located directly above the Forum.
Parking spaces are available in this shopping arcade; to find your car again, make a note of the number and colour of the parking space.
