Abstract

All records of Mycterus (Mycterus) curculioides (Fabricius, 1781) and M. (Eutryptes) tibialis Küster, 1850 from the Czech Republic are summarized, and new unpublished records are given. M. curculioides was formerly widespread in warmer areas in the Czech Republic, but it has recently been found only at two localities in Bohemia and four localities in Moravia. M. tibialis was always very rare and local in the past, and is recently known only from two neighboring localities near Žatec in Bohemia. A record of M. tibialis from the locality Vranov u Brna is published as the first record for Moravia.
